Jerry Seinfeld:
"I've been practicing Transcendental Meditation
most of my life. I think that
does something to your

Can I learn the TM technique from a book?

Are all meditations the same?

The Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through an initial seven-step course of personalized instruction along with an optional lifetime of follow-up to ensure maximum benefits from the practice.

How to Learn

The Transcendental Meditation technique is simple,
natural, effortless, and easily learned. It is practiced
for 20 minutes twice a day while sitting comfortably
with the eyes closed. The TM technique is not a religion
or philosophy, nor does it require any change of lifestyle.
The Transcendental Meditation technique is taught through
a seven-step course of instruction by a certified TM teacher.
The course is followed by weekly, and then monthly,
checking sessions (averaging 20-30 minutes) to ensure
correct practice of the technique. The course also includes an optional, lifetime follow-up of checking and knowledge to ensure maximum benefit. Anyone 10 years of age or older can learn the practice. (There's a special technique for children under 10.)
